Grants Farm Entrance

The Kindergarteners go to Grants Farm in May to identify animals and classify them.


The Magic House
The Kindergarteners go to The Magic House in May to experience hands-on learning activities in Math and Science. 

Apple Orchards

The Kindergarteners visit the Apple Orchards in September which incorporates Math, Science, Reading, and Social Studies.


St. Louis Science Center

The 1st grade visits The Science Center in the Spring. They will discover how astronauts live and work in space. 


St. Louis City Museum

The 2nd grade goes to The City Museum in the spring and use their Science skills to discover the importance of recycling.


YMCA

The 3rd grade takes swimming lessons at the YMCA in the Spring and learn about water safety. 


St. Louis Zoo

The 4th grade goes to The St. Louis Zoo each year to identify animal adaptations through a scavenger hunt. The scavenger hunt is available through the St. Louis Zoo website.


Cahokia Mounds

The 5th grade travels to Cahokia Mounds to learn about archealogy.


Fox Theatre

The 7th grade goes to the Fox Theatre in December to see the Christmas Carol to support the literature series they read in class.


The Old Spaghetti Factory
The 7th grade goes to the Old Spaghetti Factory to support their Math curriculum. They have to determine how much spaghetti would be necessary to feed the whole class as well as how much it would cost for everyone to eat at The Old Spaghetti Factory.
